Uncorked ventures sends members shipments of higher priced, high rated, and quality wines from small producers on the west coast of the USA. There are three levels of club membership aimed at wine novices, those with more experience, and experts. Each club comes monthly. every other month, or quarterly. Shipments arrive with a newsletter and information on vineyards, the wines and the winemakers. The club is higher priced than some, but members get discounts and the flat rate shipping of $13/shipment is a great savings. This club views wine as an esoteric endeavor that is as much about personal taste as it is a deep understanding of wine - the prices and bottles reflect this.
